Which Browser Should You Use

FacebookTwitterDiggDeliciousStumbleuponGoogle BookmarksRedditNewsvine

This is one of the most common questions asked. Some people just stick with what they already have without knowing the benefits of other browsers.

Here's some information that I have found from my research; the top browsers that you might want to use are: Google Chrome, Firefox or Safari.

Remember that some browser problems can stem from lack of updating so make sure to keep your browser up to date as the updates fix bugs and make your browser more user friendly.

Google Chrome

Pros:
Android users can benefit from stored information being shared across Google devices and services.
Chrome can be customized with add-ons or from a library and is also considered pretty secure.

Cons:
It can be difficult to find all of the controls and options due to being hidden behind a somewhat small button.
Adding several customizations to this browser can cause a significant lag.

Firefox

Pros:
Open-source; for those who have an interest in programming/developing, this also means having access to a large library of mods and add-ons.
Frequently considered much more secure, partially due to being open-source.

Cons:
Base, also known as the "vanilla" version, doesn't offer much beyond the browser; but instead adds more than a few extensions and mods which slows it down considerably.
Updates are frequent which can render add-ons useless until the developers update them which rarely never occurs.

Safari

Pros:
If you use multiple Apple products, you can take advantage of the built-in integration and sharing features.
Expanding the latter, features such as "iCloud Keychain" lets you access saved passwords on Apple devices.

Cons:
Not easily available on Linux and doesn't always work well on Windows operating systems.
Lack of openness on Apple's part means fewer customization options

I personally prefer using Firefox and have done for quite a few years now but as you can see from the pros and cons, your opinions on these browsers simply depends on what you require from your browser.
